Nothing focuses the mind like an imminent deadline.<br />Art doesn't have to be the topic up for discussion but discussion is the key! I also think that shared experiences help to enrich everyone's creative endeavors. Many of us network via Twitter and Facebook, but there's nothing that can beat the "coffee, cake, and chat" sessions we have. Most of the topics talked about have nothing to do with art, and why do they need to be? Friendship is as important a part of being in a group as is the exchange of ideas, and from the friendship the art and exhibitions evolve :-)Martyn Gleadenhttp://www.fitzmartyn.co.uknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8704823323608583884.post-68346285586335055912014-03-13T12:29:13.535-07:002014-03-13T12:29:13.535-07:00The only true group I'm a member of is DVA. I don't like working to fill a cupboard, I'm aiming to sell to benefit others and that gives me reason to create more. It's nice to have that outlet as well as the huge encouragement and support of the others of all walks of art. Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06834178052964503036noreply@blogger.com
